Melania Trump loves culottes. They seem to be her go-to pants whenever she’s about to board Air Force One. On her supermodel frame, they are stunning. And I think she–being FLOTUS and everyone follows first lady style no matter who the president is–is fueling the comeback of these flowy, cropped pants. I just photographed a very stylish girl in these yesterday and she looked amazing, especially paired with a high heel that elongates the leg. Now, my first foray into culottes was not so glamorous. My sweet, well-intentioned grandmother bought me a pair in fifth grade and….well, for lack of a better description, I felt very much like a nerdy pirate.
