Pumpkin Spa Day


File this under the “last to know” department: Carving pumpkins has an added skincare benefit! After painstakingly picking out all the seeds from the pumpkin guts, my hands were taut, smooth and I’m blindingly convinced they look younger! I rubbed the pulp all over my hands! Pumpkin spa day!

Ok, I knew pumpkins were used in masks and but I’ve since learned that they are chock full of Vitamin C and alpha hydroxy acids. This was just a wonderful by-product of helping my kids create their pumpkins this year. Maybe I should’ve paid more attention to Cindy Crawford‘s skin care infomercials about the magic melons in her products…
