I first read about Gemstone Facial Rollers in a recent issue of Town & Country magazine, and they looked so appealing, I had to order one. While you can find them at Nordstrom and Anthropologie, I ordered mine from Amazon. Because….Prime.

I chose the Rose Quartz roller (about $29) only because it looked sturdy and had better reviews than some of the Jade rollers. So, this is how it works: after you cleanse, you apply your favorite serum onto your face, then use the gemstone roller to rub it in. The roller is supposed to help fight wrinkles, smooth your face and make it look more youthful.

I’ve noticed none of that so far, but it sure does feel cooling on my skin, and in this 100-degree season we’re in, I’ll take it.
